Finally, the platform consumption for each business unit can be accurately reporting on, allowing internal usage costs to be correctly allocated to the department consuming the service. Agents that service multiple departments have their consumption split evenly.
With the introduction of custom license definitions, license reporting is no longer limited to just Genesys products. Now one reporting solution can capture all agent related license consumption requirements, irrespective of the vendor.
The data generation period can be configured from 24 hours down to 10 minute granularity. The license reporting data can be as little as 5 minutes behind a real time event. And with a built in debugging feature, there is no need to inspect log files in order to understand how the license consumption data was calculated.
Reporting data is immediately available via the InProd web application, or via the exposed API. Schedule reports can also be delivered via email in HTML, Excel or CSV formatting. HTML reports can be heavily customized to include external data sources, custom calculations and artwork. This removes the need to manually manipulate reports before publishing.
The license reporting feature further extends the value in which InProd offers to managing the contact center platform. Instead of relying on license reporting data generated from the software vendor, now it is possible to verify usage data from an independent party.
When considering or currently using a pay per use license model, accurate and independently verified reporting may have considerable savings.
