InProd Installation
Our Genesys software configuration management solution is available as both an on-premise installation and as a cloud platform
On Premise
If your organization wants to utilize their existing servers, or if there are other business considerations for the use of an on-premise solution, the InProd on-premise deployment is the way to go. The installation process is managed via Yum packages and is usually deployed within one day.

InProd is split into three main components –
- Aft, connection into the Genesys management layer
- SSC, the Stat Server Connector for license reporting
- Bow, the central backed service
To simplify security, configuration, and high availability, there are multiple instances of Aft and SSC for each Genesys software environment. These all connect to one central Bow service. All connections to Genesys are achieved via the PSDK, as recommended by Genesys.
Cloud Platform
InProd Cloud Platform is an alternative deployment strategy to the traditional on-premise installation which usually takes no more than 10 minutes to integrate into each Genesys environment. A small lightweight Java application runs locally within your Genesys Engage environment and creates an outbound TCP connection to the cloud platform, this removes the need for VPN connections or firewalls changes.
